fête

Please join me this Thursday, April 4th from 5:30-10pm for the Fête Night Market at Room 1520. The market features dozens of food and design artisans and kicks off a weekend of tours, tastings, and talks around Chicago. I will be there selling limited edition pillows, clutches, belts, and more. Stop by to have a bite to eat and see what I've been working on lately.

AZZA accessories

{ photos via Roslyn }

New at Roslyn: these gorgeous hand-beaded collars and sashes from Atelier AZZA. Love how effortlessly they can add some glam to our classic Carter Dress, shown here in black silk crepe de chine.

nyfw diary on glossed & found

Earlier this month, I traveled to New York to visit with friends and family, have a few meetings, and participate in some of the spectacle that is NYFW. While there, I snapped a bunch of photos and kept a log for Glossed & Found. Take a look at the full diary here. I will also be be posting more photos over the next few weeks, so check back soon for an unabridged version of my trip.

crafting a classic

{ via Mulberry }

Love this behind-the-scenes look at the details, care, and craftsmanship that go into Mulberry's Del Rey bag. Envious of all those leather working tools and machines—they are way more serious than my handheld mallets, punches, and rotary cutters!

seeing spots

{ one and two: thrift store find | three: Anthropologie Luxe Shine Wallpaper | four: Emerson Fry Airy Dots Blouse | five: thrift store find | six: via The Sartorialist | seven: via The Design Center |  eight: Anthropologie Circles Galore Maillotnine and ten: Hound SS12 Collection featuring an abstract dot print by Michelle Vondiziano of January Prints | eleven and twelve: thrift store find | thirteen: via Fashion Gone Rogue | fourteen: Nicole Cari via Closet Visit | fifteen: via The Sartorialist | sixteen: via Fashion Gone Rogue | seventeen: Madewell Silk Dotty Dress | eighteen: via Pinterest | nineteen: via The Sartorialist | twenty: via Atlantic-Pacific }

On a recent trip to the thrift store, I unintentionally loaded up my cart with multiple items covered in polka dots. All the dotted prints I've been seeing must have snuck their way onto my subliminal wish list because I ended up taking home a blouse and two dresses covered in spots. All fun, colorful, and just in time for some updates to my summer wardrobe.

Elise Bergman + Suitor

Suitor has long been our go-to brand for note cards, packaging design, custom invitations, creative inspiration, and more. Jessica Murnane, the brains behind the Chicago-based design company, has just amazed us again with the launch of her newest concept, Dillingham Fair. For the project, Murnane collaborates with other artists and designers to create a limited-edition object available exclusively through her website. We are excited to announce that the Elise Bergman + Suitor Envelope Clutch is now for sale! It is made from reclaimed leather and lined in a cotton twill print, custom designed by Suitor. Take a look at the video for a little information about the inspiration behind our collaboration.
