Quiet January on the blog as we worked overtime designing, planning, sketching, and sewing in prep for an amazing opportunity to show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. Diet Pepsi and Simon Doonan invited me to represent Chicago as one of four up-and-coming designers from around the country. The Diet Pepsi Style Studio launches tonight with a show at The Box at Lincoln Center featuring three themed looks from each designer on a Jonathan Adler-designed runway. Long day of fittings yesterday. Last minute tweaks and styling today. Feeling grateful and overwhelmed. Couldn't be more excited to be in New York to participate in such an exciting event. Looking forward to sharing more photos from the week!
