sneak peek

Last summer, I had the pleasure of designing a custom wedding gown for Candace,  an uber-creative and passionate bride. Convertibility was key in her search for the perfect dress and we worked very closely to come up with something that could be worn a few different ways. We added special loops and ties to the hem of the dress that allowed her to shorten the skirt for her reception. The ruffle straps were detachable and had the option to be doubled up on one shoulder for an asymmetrical look or be removed all together. Finally, we made the silk chiffon sashes extra long so they could be wrapped across the bodice in a number of ways including a voluminous and romantic bow tied at the waist. Be on the lookout for more wedding photos and a guest blog post from the bride. In the meantime, here is quick glance at the final product.
